RIP Kobe Bryant

I saw this posted on Twitter and didn’t think too much of it, I mean you pray for all those that are involved and hope that people survive, while at the same time you prepare for the worst! You wonder who was on the plane was it a name we will all know? Is it a big business person, where there kids involved?
The reality in this thinking is that people did die and many are affected regardless! So, for many the blow was hard when we found out that it was Kobe Bryant! He is a legend if you will not just in so cal but apparently the world! This hit harder than I would have imagined! From what I understand TMZ released Kobes name before his family could be notified and the police rightfully roasted them in their news conference. I for one am completely over the first culture. Lets wait till the family is notified before we make any announcements of the identity of the victims involved. The press should have been as follows:

“There has been a Helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, it looks pretty bad. We will wait to confirm any info about survivors or victims once the police have been able to contact the family of those involved.”

So lets in the future wait until we have all the facts and have compassion for the family so they can be notified before we go full force on our assumptions just to get a story out first. It wasn’t just TMZ, they just happened to have been called out by the Police.

This was a tragedy where 9 lives were taken so early and so much living to still be done. Kobe will be remembered for the Loving Father, Husband, son, amazing Athlete and philanthropist that he was. He was an extraordinary talent when it came to Basketball…My heart does go out to his family at this time.

Vanessa Bryant finally broke her silence on Instagram as of Wednesday the 29th of January. I included a screenshot to the right. I love that through the grief the family is concerned for the others involved. it wasn’t just Kobe and his daughter there were 7 other lives that were taken. So let us Remember them all and pray for everyone of those families that have been dealt a low blow, a visit from grief and sadness and help them through this time. Lets not add to their burden of grief. I think I will leave this article as it is. right here. I was going to go into some rabbit holes on here, instead I will save that for another day. May you all have God in your heart and shine the light in the darkness so that way we may stomp out the darkness and radiate the light into others..

We need to be more caring and Empathetic towards each other in this life, this earthly journey is so hard to begin with why add to it. Lets smile more and do things out of love and then maybe just maybe this world will be a better place.
